I Don't Believe in Atheist...Therefore They Do Not Exist

I don't believe in Atheist; therefore, they don't exist. That is atheist attitude towards God, but does that mean God does not exist? Of course not! Your belief or disbelief will no more change reality; than a drug crazed person's belief they can fly changes reality as they jumps off a building and fly smack into the ground below.

Your belief is only as good as what you put your belief in.

What is an Atheist? An Atheist is the belief in no God. Atheist is someone who believes nothing made everything, which is a scientific impossibility.

No wonder the bible says nothing about Atheist, it just calls them fools...A fool says in their heart there is no God Psalms 14:1.

If you want to discuss this topic please feel free to respond. Any sort of obscene language or blasphemy towards God, Jesus, etc will be deleted.

Why we share our faith with others.

You see a child playing in the road with a toy completely oblivious to a truck coming fast towards him. Oh NO! You’re filled with panic; you have to act fast if you’re going to save him. Your love for children compels you to run out in the road and warn them! It’s not some sort of gift that you have been given it’s your duty! You don’t have time to let someone else do it, like it’s not your job. You’re the only one in that exact spot at that moment. God put you there to reach him.

You love children and you hate the idea of a truck running them down. You go out there to pull the child to safety but you’re too weak and frail to actually remove him from the road. The child doesn’t believe in trucks. You tell him of the consequences of what will happen if he doesn’t get off the road fast, that the truck will actually kill him. You plead with him with tears in your eyes. Thankfully, the child takes heed to your warning and gets off the road before the truck got there. The child saw the genuine fear for his predicament on your face and your clear concern for his safety. He listens to you and is thankful you loved him enough to warn him. He moves quickly off the road to safety.

The truck is death and judgment. The child on the road is anyone who is not reconciled to God through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. The responsibility of warning that child to get out of the road is everyone's. It's not a spiritual gift to urge him to get off the road. It's a duty of those with compassion, those children who were once on that road but were saved by the grace of God, through faith not of themselves so they don't get credit for it, God does.

Evangelist may train others how to share their faith, but everyone with compassion for others will have the desire to help bring others to the safety of Jesus Christ.

Until the nets are full, working toward the plentiful harvest !

Why Don't Christians Follow All The Old Testament Laws

A friend of mine on facebook hit me basically with the question; Why don't Christians follow all the Old Testament Laws. This question is a valid one and many do ask it so why is it?

His questions was specifically

"Have any of you believers ever worked on a Saturday? If so your god decrees that you should be put to death. See Exodus 31:14-15.

My response was: "In the old testament the death sentence was upon the Jewish people for working on the Sabbath. They had a special Covenant with God as His people and part of that Covenant was not to not work on the Sabbath. The Covenant was like a marriage Covenant and if violated it was very offensive to God. The New Testament times are under a different Covenant and Jesus Christ is the Lord of the Sabbath and Christians find their rest in Him if you want to check it out read Colossian 2:16-17"

The next question that my friend ask was after quoting Matthew 5:17-20

Which says 17 "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. 18 For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished. 19 Therefore whoever relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I tell you, unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. ESV

"This, supposedly, comes from your God-man, Jesus. Seems like he was keenly interested in the original "covenant" and was all for it. I guess you disregard the 10 commandments also, since they're also merely outdated O.T. stuff. Right?"

My response: Read on a little further of chapter 5 to see the full context.

Matt 5:21-22, 27-28
21 "You have heard that it was said to those of old, 'You shall not murder; and whoever murders will be liable to judgment.' 22 But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother will be liable to judgment; whoever insults his brother will be liable to the council; and whoever says, 'You fool!' will be liable to the hell of fire....27 "You have heard that it was said, 'You shall not commit adultery.' 28 But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart. ESV

Christ is turning up the heat on mankind showing that it's not just our actions that God is looking at but our hearts. The Pharisee's were trying to "earn" heaven by being "good guys" on the outside but God could see their hearts and they were wicked and they were judged by their hearts not just their actions. He was showing them why they needed a saviour they were slaves to sin, but they missed it and rejected him. Now we write the end to our own story do we miss it or do we realize we need a new heart and new desire that only Christ can give?

As for the question about if the 10 Commandments are relative today, yes they are! Here is why. The laws in the bible can be grouped into three different categories they are.

1) Civil law: given to certain people during a certain time period.

2) Ceremonial law: given to certain people during a certian time period.

3) Moral law: Given to all people for all time periods (10 Commandments)

I always appreciate good questions like these because it gives the opportunity to clear things up with genuine seekers of truth. It also gets people to think about what they believe and ultimately it does not matter how much we believe something if what we believe is untrue it will never become true. Therefore, the questions should not be "what do you believe?" Instead ask if what you believe is true.

For example an Atheist believes nothing made everything. Can that be true? Of course not! It's scientifically impossible for nothing to become everything, to cling to such a presupposition is to show an unwillingness to be logical or rational.
